Workplace Training with Culture Connections

What Is Culture Connections?

Culture Connections is the Center’s signature workplace training and dialogue series. Drawing lessons from the global human rights movement, we address today’s organizational culture challenges through interactive modules, skilled facilitation, and a brave-space dialogue framework. Participants explore identity, power, communication, accountability, bias and leave with tools they can use long after the session ends.

What Value Do We Bring

Workplace culture doesn’t shift by chance; it transforms through intentional connection. Culture Connections workshops help organizations move beyond performative gestures to foster environments grounded in empathy, equity, and shared purpose. By blending historical context with current research and real-world tools, we equip teams to build cultures of belonging that last. The result is stronger collaboration, deeper retention, and a workforce ready to lead with dignity.

Why We Do What We Do

Culture Connections is grounded in the ideal of e pluribus unum — “out of many, one.” Since 1776, this motto has signified the strength that comes when diverse people unite for a common purpose.

That principle is just as vital in today’s workplaces. When organizations embrace a wide range of talents and perspectives, they unlock innovation, deepen collaboration, and drive meaningful success.

Who It’s For

The Featured Projects showcase how communities are reclaiming history and shaping a more just future. From the Truth-Telling Fellowship, which uplifts grassroots historians and artists preserving suppressed narratives, to the National Summit on Transformative Memorialization, Unturning the Stones, these initiatives turn remembrance into a catalyst for change. Together, they model how truth can inspire action and repair.
