Fedex: Free days

Free Admission for all On Select Days

Each year, The National Center for Civil and Human Rights commemorates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of free admission, generously supported by FedEx. While not held on the federal holiday itself, this annual event typically takes place during MLK weekend. The specific date will be listed on our Upcoming Events page.

This offering reflects FedEx’s longstanding commitment to advancing Dr. King’s vision of justice, dignity, and nonviolent change. By supporting open access to the Center during this powerful time of reflection, FedEx helps ensure people of all backgrounds can engage with the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement and be inspired to carry that work forward.

Free tickets are usually distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with advance reservations encouraged. Programming varies by year and often includes special events, performances, and opportunities for community connection and reflection.
