Nicole Lee
Development Director, Corporate and Foundations Relations
Nicole has worked in philanthropy for more than a decade, with several grants management and frontline fundraising responsibilities at the K-12 and collegiate level. Education and uplift – particularly for marginalized communities – is her passion and she is excited to now serve with NCCHR to secure resources for this significant cultural institution.
Prior to entering the fundraising profession, Nicole worked for a decade as a print journalist in Georgia and other states, winning awards and national recognition from the Associated Press and the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists.
Her community service engagement includes volunteering with the Junior League of DeKalb County, the National Council of Negro Women (DeKalb section), and the Fabulous Female Fundraisers group. Nicole is a member of the Greater Atlanta Association of Fundraising Professionals and was a former AFP Board Member (2023-2024), and Diversity Fellow.
Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism from Georgia State University, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Kennesaw State University.
