National Center for Civil and Human Rights and Gallagher Partner to Increase Awareness of Human Rights Challenges

ATLANTA, Ga. – Feb. 9, 2021 – The National Center for Civil and Human Rights (The Center) and Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm, have announced a partnership to increase awareness of human rights challenges.

Through Gallagher’s partnership with AMB Sports & Entertainment, Gallagher will be an official partner of The Center, supporting the museum and cultural institution that connects the U.S. Civil Rights Movement to human rights challenges today. Gallagher’s support extends to The Center’s Campaign for Equal Dignity lecture series on sports and civil rights as well as its Law Enforcement Human Rights Training Program.

“Gallagher is a company that is living its values by making sure the most important issues of our day are discussed openly, and with respect and empathy,” said Jill Savitt, President and CEO of The Center. “The issues of sports and law enforcement both intersect with civil rights. Gallagher is working with us to ensure vital conversations on these topics are happening, an essential task to move our society forward.”

The partnership between the two organizations demonstrates a shared commitment to civic values and dignity for all, as well as leading with integrity, which is a critical element of what has made Gallagher successful and is fundamental to the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. Additionally, The Center’s mission closely aligns with The Gallagher Way tenets of supporting, believing, acknowledging and respecting the abilities of one another.
