Some events are better with the sky visible above. The Skyline Terrace is a sweeping open-air balcony tucked into the copper wing of the Shirley Clarke Franklin Pavilion, overlooking downtown Atlanta’s skyline and the green lawn of Pemberton Place below.  

The Terrace blends privacy with open-air splendor, giving evening events a dramatic backdrop that’s hard to find anywhere else downtown. It’s a natural fit for a reception, a live performance, or any evening event that calls for an unforgettable experience.

The Terrace is outdoors, so weather is always part of the plan. Two of the Center’s most stunning indoor spaces, the Main Lobby & Mezzanine and the Shirley Clarke Franklin Pavilion, are the best available options as a rain-plan backup, and your event coordinator can help you choose the best fit for your event. If you prefer to keep the celebration outdoors, a tent rental through a vendor lets your guests enjoy the fresh air, rain or shine.
