Saturday Adventures at the Center: Storytime

December 5 | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for a meaningful Saturday Storytime featuring Peaceful Fights for Equal Rights. In recognition of Human Rights Month, families are invited to gather for an engaging reading that introduces young learners to the people and movements that have worked to create a more just and equitable world. Through thoughtful storytelling, children will discover how peaceful action, courage, and perseverance can inspire positive change.

Following the story, guests can participate in a hands-on activity inspired by the book’s themes. Designed for children and families, this interactive experience encourages reflection, creativity, and conversation while exploring the values of fairness, empathy, and standing up for others.

Readings take place at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. in the children’s gallery.

Are you a local author with a story to share? Submit an inquiry to be considered for a Saturday Adventures Storytime and inspire the next generation of readers, thinkers, and changemakers.
