Saturday Adventures at the Center

Join us this Saturday for two special interactive experiences at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. with 1202Puppets, an Atlanta-based educational puppetry company known for bringing stories to life through creativity, movement, and play.
Through their Empuptry workshop, children will take part in a hands-on puppet-making experience that blends storytelling with social-emotional learning. Participants will create their own puppets, learn basic puppetry skills, and collaborate in small groups to bring short, guided skits to life. This engaging workshop encourages emotional awareness, communication, confidence, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment designed for elementary-aged children. Workshops are offered at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with limited spots available. Participation is first come, first served.
During your visit, be sure to explore Change Agent Adventure: Children’s Gallery, an interactive space designed for children 12 and under. This hands-on “secret headquarters” invites kids to play, create, and build confidence while discovering what it means to be a changemaker.
