Director of Curation
Daniel Fuller is an accomplished writer and curator currently in Atlanta, Georgia. With a career spanning over two decades, Daniel has curated an impressive roster of more than 175 exhibitions showcasing diverse artistic talent. His latest exhibition, “The Sea Swept the Sandcastles Away. (To Wake up in Atlanta!)” at MARCH Gallery, was highlighted in the New York Times’ “What to See in N.Y.C. Galleries in January.”
Under his leadership, the Atlanta Contemporary saw a remarkable increase in attendance, quadrupling its visitor numbers and achieving an equitable demographic split between Black and white attendees at its peak. Before his tenure in Atlanta, Daniel directed and curated at The Institute of Contemporary Art at Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. He doubled museum attendance, published five books, and fostered a vibrant cultural community.
An esteemed writer, Daniel’s contributions have graced the pages of leading art magazines such as ArtForum, Art in America, ARTnews, and Frieze, among others. He has also penned numerous artist catalogs and frequently contributes to Burnaway and Upstate Diary. Daniel explored the intersection of art and label design in a column for The Wine Zine and authored a cover story for 032c.
Fuller currently shares his expertise with students at Emory University.
