[vc_row][vc_column][mk_fancy_title size=”24″ font_family=”none”]As a part of our celebration of the 71st anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we partnered with Love Beyond Walls to host a program in discussing ending homelessness in Atlanta and what we can do to get there.[/mk_fancy_title][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1573682577716{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

The Center and Love Beyond Walls invite the community to join in a dialogue on homelessness and supporting the needs of some of America’s “forgotten” population. After a self-guided tour of the Dignity Museum: Small Exhibition, participants will hear from a panel of advocates who are working to affirm dignity in individuals experiencing homelessness. Following the panel, there will be an interactive workshop designed to educate the community on available resources and how to support those of us battling homelessness.

  • hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine care products, etc.)
  • non-perishable food
  • blankets
  • socks
  • chapstick

We will be sorting donated items at the program to later be distributed by Love Beyond Walls. You can bring them any time to The Center and our administrative offices in the American Cancer Society building.[/vc_cta][mk_padding_divider][vc_text_separator title=”Panelists” title_align=”separator_align_left”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_circle_image src=”https://www.civilandhumanrights.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/terence-lester.jpg” image_diameter=”250″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][mk_custom_list title=”Terence Lester, Founder of Love Beyond Walls”][/mk_custom_list][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_circle_image src=”https://www.civilandhumanrights.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/alie-redd_2016-1024×683.jpg” image_diameter=”250″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][mk_custom_list title=”Dr. Alie Redd, Executive Director of Covenant House Georgia”][/mk_custom_list][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_circle_image src=”https://www.civilandhumanrights.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/nasheedah-1-600×600.jpg” image_diameter=”250″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][mk_custom_list title=”Nasheedah Muhammed, Co-Director of Lost-N-Found Youth”][/mk_custom_list][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][mk_padding_divider][vc_text_separator title=”Program Partners” title_align=”separator_align_left”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_padding_divider][vc_single_image image=”48230″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”48231″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”47513″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”48302″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_padding_divider][mk_padding_divider][vc_single_image image=”48299″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_padding_divider][mk_padding_divider][vc_single_image image=”48300″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”48391″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][mk_padding_divider][mk_padding_divider][vc_single_image image=”48474″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”33613″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
