An outdoor exhibition dedicated to sharing homelessness testimonials and present the unjust causes and disparity in resource allocation

Fall—Winter 2019

As a part of our celebration of the 71st anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we partnered with Love Beyond Walls to host this powerful outdoor exhibition as part of the organization’s Dignity Museum.

Dignity Museum is an immersive experience that rehumanizes those of us that are homeless. While the homeless population is often forgotten in this city and beyond, this exhibition asks you to take a moment and imagine life from the perspective of someone who is impoverished. To see the actual shipping container, set up a tour at Love Beyond Walls headquarters in East Point, Georgia.

Experience the Forgotten: The Dignity Museum Program | November 19, 2019, at 6:30 PM

Come to the program and meet the Love Beyond Walls team! We will have a short panel and workshop on how to affirm dignity in transient populations, and sort donated items to be distributed by Love Beyond Walls after the event.

  • The Center for Civil and Human Rights is A TREMENDOUS ACHIEVEMENT, unlike anything this city has ever seen . . . for the rest of my days it will be the first place I take visitors to my city . . . I [FEEL] LIKE THE HEART OF ATLANTA HAS FINALLY FOUND A HOME.

  • The Center's exhibits tell stories in ways that promote empathy and understanding. This fledgling cultural institution has already SUCCEEDED IN EXPANDING ATLANTA'S ETHICAL FOOTPRINT.

  • This stunning museum is a CAN'T MISS Atlanta attraction. My family had just under an hour to experience the museum before it closed but it was AMONG THE MOST POWERFUL HOURS OF MY LIFE.

  • MY 15 YEAR OLD SON was dragged into this tour by his debate coach. 6 hours later, he returned with a message – "Mom, we have got to go back this weekend!" He and his buddies loved it...a big accomplishment for any museum when it comes to teenage boys.
