Garry Capers, Jr.

Garry Capers is division president and member of the executive leadership team at Deluxe Corporation, where he is the general manager with full financial and operational responsibility for the Cloud and Promotional Solutions portfolio, including marketing data and analytics, marketing and print services, website design and hosting, and SaaS-based applications providing business intelligence and reporting for small banks and business incorporation services for small businesses.

In his role, Capers establishes the strategic direction, defines the financial and operational targets, and engages key customers and partners to accelerate growth within the Cloud and Promotional Solutions business units. Since joining Deluxe in 2019, Capers has reorganized a portfolio of more than three dozen acquired companies and positioned the businesses for growth by divesting and/or sunsetting underperforming assets and expanding growth products into new end-markets.

As a 15-year veteran in the FinTech field with 8 years of prior experience in management consulting, Capers has transformed non-core, peripheral capabilities into new, sustainable growth vectors for mainstay businesses and is already making similar strides within Deluxe.

Before joining Deluxe, Capers was at ADP where he was senior vice president and general manager for the enterprise outsourcing unit and a regional service region, responsible for customer retention and expansion.

Prior to ADP, Capers was a senior vice president and general manager at Equifax, with increasing responsibilities ranging from leading corporate strategy to forming a new business unit within the fraud and identity management space to turning around a declining commercial marketing business. Prior to Equifax, Capers was a management consultant with Bain & Company, departing as a manager with focus in the retail and financial services sectors.

Capers is a current Board Director for OneSpan Inc. (NASDAQ:OSPN), chairing the Nomination and Governance and serving on the Compensation committees.  He is a current Trustee for The Lovett School in Atlanta and advisor for PayDN, a payments startup headquartered in Atlanta. He serves on board for The Deluxe Foundation, which seeks to provide long-term solutions that help people, businesses, and communities thrive and grow.  He has previously served on the board of Girls Inc. Atlanta, also.
