Assistant Choreographer
Galen J. Williams is an Atlanta native, multi-hyphenate artist as an actor, writer, singer, dancer and acting coach. As a graduate of Tri-Cities High School VPA Magnet Program, Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Musical Theatre program, and University of Southern California’s MFA Acting program, he made his Broadway debut in the ensemble of “Motown the Musical”, and his Principal Broadway debut in Jeremy O. Harris’ riveting production of “Slave Play” in the role of Gary. He also played the role in the West Coast Premiere of “Slave Play” at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, CA. Other credits include Season 1 of POSE on FX and the Daytime Emmy-Nominated and Webby Award winning Digital Series “The Gaze” starring in the lead role of Jerome Price, playing opposite of the Emmy-Nominated Sharon Lawrence, TC Carson, and an all-star cast. He is currently a Teaching Artist-In-Residence for Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company in Atlanta preparing students for the Next Narrative Monologue Competition. He has taught Acting and Speech at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and has choreographed productions for El Camino College and New Manchester High School.
