Sounds of the World is our first ever, world music festival scheduled for Saturday, August 20th!

We will explore various cultures through unique experience, powerful demonstrations and hands-on musical encounters.

Performing artists include:

  • Fourth Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra: Funk/Jazz/Jewish Klezmier
  • Emory Gamelan Ensemble: Indonesian traditional percussion
  • Alex Gordon Hi-Fi: Jazz/World music
  • Tito Gato: Latin Jazz
  • Atlanta Taiko Project: Japanese percussion

These artists will perform at The Center throughout the day and culminate in a full concert by Atlanta Taiko Project at 6 PM!
