Join Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Artistic Director Robert Battle; National Center for Civil and Human Rights President and CEO Jill Savitt; scholar, activist and historian Dr. Clarissa Myrick-Harris; and National Director of AileyCamp Nasha Thomas for a discussion moderated by NBC News Correspondent Blayne Alexander spotlighting projects that are revealing truth, awakening transformation, and recognizing triumphs on the march to freedom. In the footsteps of Martin Luther King, Jr., the “March on Washington: 60 Years Later” exhibition at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights furthers a mission of inspiring people to tap their own power to create a world with justice and dignity for all. Doors open at 6PM. Panel discussion begins at 6:30 PM.
