Film Screening of “Isaac Pope: The Spirit of an American Century”

[vc_row][vc_column][mk_fancy_title size=”24″ font_family=”none”]You are cordially invited to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights for a public screening of Isaac Pope: The Spirit of An American Century.[/mk_fancy_title][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1567602488770{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]This deeply inspirational film, tells the story of Isaac Pope, a man motivated by his unwavering belief in justice and his ongoing fight for equality. Directly following the screening, we will host a talk-back with filmmaker Paula J. Caplan and Dr. Catherine Meeks, Executive Director of the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing.

The September 4th screening will be the Atlanta premiere!
Its crew is a Harvard/LA/NYC team that has won many awards.
The film has won major awards from three film festivals and is an Official Selection in four more.
The film is receiving ratings of an average of 5 out of 5 from audience members from all groups and walks of life.
It had a specially invited screening for the NAACP’s National Board, a screening at the Harvard Kennedy School Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, a screening at the AME Zion National Education Conference, and a screening as part of the New Freedom Theatre (Philadelphia) Juneteenth Celebrations at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
It has had stunning premieres in LA and NYC and will have a United Kingdom premiere in London in September.
It is being gradually rolled out on PBS stations across the country.
