Join The Center on Wednesday, February 16^th at 1pm for a story time featuring the children’s book, Justice Makes a Difference by Dr. Artika Tyner. In Justice Makes a Difference, we meet a young girl named Justice who is curious about the idea of community. Lucky for her, she has a wonderful grandmother who wants to help her learn about where she fits in and what it means to be part of a community as she learns about several important figures in history.

After Dr. Tyner’s reading, join us for a Q&A hosted by David Hopings, Manager of Public Engagement and King Middle School student Zyhmiya Jones. Along with questions from our youth guest host, we will welcome any questions students may have regarding the book, Dr. Tyner’s work as a professor & civil rights attorney, or one of her other many titles.
