Culture Connections Team Member
McKenzie Wren, MPH, is an independent facilitator who supports equity, connection, and growth in multiple arenas. At Wren Consulting, she works with businesses and nonprofits to explore equity practices, inclusive behaviors, and relationship-centered change processes. At Ma’ayan Spiritual Arts, she facilitates art, ritual, and connection through Earth-based, embodied Jewish practices. She is also the part-time special projects manager for the Southern Jewish Network for Gender and Sexual Diversity (SOJOURN).
As a change maker specializing in culture, McKenzie has an expansive portfolio of work helping her clients access their wisdom to support expanded diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in their organizations. At the heart of everything she does is the belief in the power of relationships and community and that everyone’s voice matters. Whether facilitating workshops or classes, art experiences, rituals, or ceremonies, McKenzie creates a space where each person is seen, heard, and valued and has an authentic experience. She brings creative problem-solving and innovative approaches to build community, encourage communication, and expand inclusion.
McKenzie earned her master’s degree from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, where she later taught students leadership and community engagement for three years. Her public health training brought her to “the most diverse square mile in the US,” Clarkston, GA, where she spent over 10 years working with people from all over the world, building community, fostering inclusion, and helping individuals unlock their futures. Since 2015, McKenzie has worked across Atlanta and nationally.
