Refugees in America Community Discussion

In partnership with the New Georgia Project, the Center for Civil and Human Rights invites you to participate in a community conversation about the state of refugee resettlement in America. After an opening reception, hear from American citizens who came to this country as refugees and how their work is changing the narrative of refugees in America.

Panelists include:

  • Awet Eyasu, Councilman for the City of Clarkston
  • Mayor Ted Terry, Mayor for the City of Clarkson
  • Francis McBayer, Director for Refugee Services
