- Take Action
ADL’s Examining Identity workshop will provide a broad framework to assist participants in defining who they are as individuals and how they are viewed by others. Often described as the filter through which people see and interact with the world, personal and cultural identity is constructed of the multiple identities that define a person’s membership in a variety of groups, including race, religion, gender/gender identity, age, sexual orientation, language, nationality, ability, family, socioeconomic. An understanding of identity and an exploration of the ways people perceive different groups promote awareness and motivation to challenge stereotypes.
