Volunteer

Volunteering with The Center not only exemplifies your support and commitment to human rights but also provides you with the opportunity to contribute to the enriching experience of visitors and members.

All volunteers must attend our volunteer training sessions. To receive information about volunteer opportunities and training sessions at The Center, complete the form below.

The Center’s VOLUNTEER TEAM BASICS:

ROLES:

Concierge: Staff our front desk and are the first welcome to visitors.
Visitor Liaison: Serve in galleries and assist visitors as they explore.
Docents: Lead tours for visitors and VIP guests.
Events Attendants: Represent The Center to guests attending events.
Office Support: Assist our team with administrative needs.

SHIFTS:

Volunteers may serve any day of the week, in a variety of shifts. We also have options for evening service at many of our events.

EXPECTATIONS:
Volunteers are expected to follow program policies and procedures. The two that potential volunteers need to know before they attend training is that they are expected to pay $14 for their background check before serving, and that they are expected to serve two shifts each month.

BENEFITS:

We have a Benefits Menu that allows you to trade in your hours for tickets, attendance to special events, even guest memberships. We also offer a discounted Volunteer Membership for $35. Plus, you’ll be CHANGING THE WORLD.

We hope to see you at The Center soon!
