DESCRIPTION:The Education Team at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights invites educators to a virtual professional learning workshop designed to support teachers across grade levels in navigating today’s most challenging classroom conversations. \nHosted by the Center’s Education Team and co-hosted by Emily Glankler\, creator and host of Anti-Social Studies\, this interactive session focuses on practical tools and strategies for teaching current and controversial topics while prioritizing both student safety and educator well-being. \nDesigned for educators at every grade level\, the workshop offers guidance on facilitating respectful dialogue\, navigating sensitive issues with confidence\, and teaching real-world topics responsibly.
