Michéle Taylor

Michèle Taylor is a passionate individual with a commitment to service and demonstrated success in fundraising at both local and national levels. She is a strategic leader with strong, creative critical thinking and facilitation skills and is deeply committed to collaboration, personal responsibility and social justice.

In addition to her service on the board at The Center, she serves as Chair of the Governance Committee for the North Carolina Outward Bound School board and is its most recent past-secretary; Treasurer of Atlanta’s Midtown Improvement District board; a Presidential Appointee to the US Holocaust Memorial Council where she is a member of the Committee on Holocaust Denial and State-Sponsored Anti-Semitism; a member of the Anti Defamation League’s Southeast regional board and Vice-Chair of the National Finance Committee for the Democratic Party. She has provided consulting to the White House on the Violence Against Women Act’s 20th anniversary and has advised organizations and leaders on issues of Human Rights and discrimination. She also served as co-chair of
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed’s re-election campaign and Finance Co-chair / Campaign Vice-chair for the Michelle Nunn for Senate campaign.

In her free time, she can be found training for a marathon, scaling mountains, skiing the slopes or as stoker on the tandem bike she and her husband travel with throughout the U.S. and overseas.
