Deborah J. Richardson

Executive Director, International Human Trafficking Institute

Deborah is a nationally recognized expert on social justice for women and girls, having testified before Congress as part of her advocacy to end human trafficking. In 2019, she led the Human Traffick Proof the ATL campaign, training more than 20,000 people to learn something, see something and do something to end human trafficking. Previously, she served as The Center’s Executive Vice President, leading its fundraising and program development efforts.

Deborah has a bachelor’s  degree in political science from Georgia State University, a master’s degree in leadership from St. Mary’s College of California and is a doctoral candidate in public policy and social change at Union Institute and University.
