New Exhibitions Are Now Open

The Center for Civil and Human Rights Features Part Two of its Inaugural Year Exhibitions

New items from the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Collection and the Benny Andrews John Lewis Series are now on display

Atlanta, GA – September 15, 2014 – Today, the Center for Civil and Human Rights is pleased to announce the opening of two new exhibitions. Part two of the inaugural year rotation of exhibitions will feature, Nonviolence and Peacemaking During the Civil Rights Movement and the Benny Andrews John Lewis Series. The exhibitions will display from September 15, 2014 to January 4, 2015.

“The opening of the new exhibitions signify The Center’s commitment to inspiring generations through the personal stories of brave individuals,” said Doug Shipman, CEO. “Through viewing the handwritten notes and speeches of Dr. King in the Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection, visitors gain an insider’s look into the mind and heart of one of the world’s most iconic ambassadors of peace.”
