“Let Us March On…” reimagines the historic March on Washington blending live actors and multimedia footage. Written by acclaimed playwright and director Nikki Toombs, this one-night-only performance will transport you back to August 28, 1963, with soul-stirring gospel from Mahalia Jackson and electrifying speeches from organizers John Lewis, Daisy Bates, Bayard Rustin and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream.”
The all-star cast features award-winning Broadway actress Maiesha McQueen as Mahalia Jackson, Brad Raymond as the Docent (narrator), and Cameron Southerland as March organizer A. Phillip Randolph, with choreography by Victor Jackson and music direction by Dr. Emorja Roberson.

On August 28, 1963, more than 250,000 people gathered for a landmark event that forever shaped American history: a march to the Lincoln Memorial that culminated in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. The extraordinary success of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom paved the way for passage of transformative civil and voting rights legislation.
