There will be an opportunity for youth to participate in a “Women Throughout History” scavenger hunt, daffodil planting, and a special 7Stages performance by Tara Ochs to re-enact the powerful story of Viola Liuzzo.
SPARK Saturday activities are sponsored by Delta Air Lines.
Youth under 18 years of age receive FREE admission every SPARK Saturday (the second Saturday of every month) courtesy of Ford Motor Company.

Women in History Scavenger Hunt
Participate in a self-guided tour of the Center for Civil and Human Rights through the lens of women civil and human rights activists. You may turn in the scavenger hunt at the end of your tour to enter into a raffle.
1:00 PM:
Book Reading and Planting of Daffodils
Families will plant a daffodil in honor of a special person in their lives to commemorate the Daffodil Project. The Daffodil Project, started by Andrea Videlefsky, is a living Holocaust memorial with the goal of planting 1.5 million daffodils around the world.
2:00 PM:
7Stages Theatre performance by Tara Ochs of “White Women in Progress”
“White Women in Progress” explores Viola Liuzzo’s civil rights activism while breaking open the conversation surrounding privilege, race and social justice today.
3:00 PM: End of family activities for the day
