World Music Day: Sounds of the World

Join The Center as we celebrate the power of music on a global scale!
Sounds of the World is our first ever, world music festival scheduled for Saturday, August 20th!
We will explore various cultures through unique experience, powerful demonstrations and hands-on musical encounters.
Performing artists include:
- Fourth Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra: Funk/Jazz/Jewish Klezmier
- Emory Gamelan Ensemble: Indonesian traditional percussion
- Alex Gordon Hi-Fi: Jazz/World music
- Tito Gato: Latin Jazz
- Atlanta Taiko Project: Japanese percussion
These artists will perform at The Center throughout the day and culminate in a full concert by Atlanta Taiko Project at 6 PM!
