Amplifying the voices of LGBTQ Southerners through Research

The LGBT Institute is pleased to host our second annual symposium presented by Delta Air Lines.

In collaboration with our research partner, Georgia State University, the symposium will explore the findings of the LGBT Institute Southern Survey and lessons learned. Attendees will also have the opportunity to develop future strategies for survey outreach and design.

This interactive symposium will be an ideal time for networking among academics and advocates, helping enhance coordination and communication to maximize impact.

The symposium will focus on the three main areas of the LGBT Institute's Southern Survey findings:

  • Education & Employment

Many of the conversations will also touch upon LGBTQIA experiences and issues in relation to gender identity, racial and economic justice, class, immigration and citizenship, age and aging, ability and disability, incarceration, and other categories and social concerns identified by the data.

We look forward to learning and connecting with you!
