Join author Blair Imani at The Center for a book signing and excerpt reading of her new book, Making Our Way Home: The Great Migration and the Black American Dream.

Following the excerpt reading, there will be conversations about voting rights, immigration, discrimination, and activism held at small group tables facilitated by Blair Imani and our Truth and Transformation Institute Manager, Allison Bantimba.

Making Our Way Home: The Great Migration and the Black American Dream discusses the great migration, a period when over 6 million Black people relocated from rural areas to industrial cities in the North and West of the United States, often as refugees from domestic violence.
