The First Convening & Ideas Session

January 23, 2018
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

As The City of Atlanta grows and prospers, our challenges increase in protecting vulnerable individuals and communities. Growing past 52 million visitors per year, 700 conventions and meetings, over 1.7 million hotel nights and with more than half a dozen global sporting events, Human Trafficking activity in Atlanta is predicted to rise.

The goal of the Metro Atlanta Coalition to End Human Trafficking is to assess current opportunities where our private, civic, faith and public entities may come together to build a collective impact strategy, shifting social and political frameworks to drastically reduce Human Trafficking in the metro area Atlanta. With your input, we will refine this goal, and work together on lasting solutions.

To begin supporting our collective efforts, the City and CCHR have worked closely together in securing a multi-year grant from Humanity United, The Novo Foundation and 100 Resilient Cities for The Pathways to Freedom initiative, funding a dedicated Human Trafficking Fellow from 2018-2021 for The City of Atlanta.

No more than two representatives per organization. Because space is limited, only those who RSVP in advance will be able to attend. Please RSVP by January 18, 2018.
